Electratest was founded in 1990, and has expanded through a franchise network, which allows us to serve small local companies anywhere in the UK, as well as national companies with offices throughout the UK.  We have an extensive list of clients, which include many well-known Companies, Councils and other Local Authorities.  We test in excess of 1 million appliances annually at premises throughout the UK.

We are ISO 9001:2000, NIC EIC and Constructionline registered and our systems and procedures are strongly supported by our bespoke software programs.  These programs, written by our own IT Department, have been developed over the past ten years and are under continual review to ensure that they meet the changing requirements of the regulations and those of our clients

Electratest is a well-established & respected nation-wide. We have built our reputation on quality & dependability since 1989. Quality and accuracy of data is of prime importance to Electratest as is our commitment to ensure the minimum of disruption to our clients and the operation of their business.  Our software and systems are specifically designed to achieve these goals.  We use a version of the Megger PAT4DV/3, modified specifically for Electratest to carry out the testing.  Full traceability of each test result including the time of test, which engineer carried out the test, which portable appliance test set was used and checks on the parameters of tests is recorded in our software.  Records of engineers’ qualifications (minimum C & G 2377), as well as full history of test equipment (calibrations and repairs) is also recorded.
